Homeward Bound Service

Meditation "Faithfulness"

Our guest speaker this week is Maisie Watson who heads up the Homeward Bound Program for the City of Peterborough Housing Division. Maisie was born and raised in Peterborough. She returned to school as an adult and became a Social worker. Maisie worked for Community Counselling and Resource Centre (CCRC) for 22 years but 11 of those years was seconded to Peteborough Housing Corporation (PHC) as Housing Social Worker. It was here that she first learned about Homeward Bound. That soon grew into a Dream of Darlene Cook the CEO and herself to one day have a replication of the project right here in Peterborough.
Maisie is a retired vocational Deacon with the Anglican Church
She is also a Grandmother to 4 delightful youngsters and they bring immense joy, love and laughter into her life.
